Darby Allen Lockamy 27 passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2022 surrounded by his family at his home.

Born in 1994 in Sampson County, NC to William Hatton and Casey Lockamy, He had a disability that hindered having a normal lifestyle, but he did everything possible to maintain a life with his family and friends whenever possible. Every single person that met him fell instantly in love with him. Darby had an old soul that never went unnoticed and was talented and wise beyond his years. He was a giver and never wanted anything in return. When he loved, he loved with every ounce of his body. Darby gave his life to the Lord on Saturday, September 3, 2022, he is now whole again and no longer in pain.

Darby is proceeded in death by his grandfathers: Larry Lucas and James Hatton and Step-father Chris Taylor.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 3:00 pm – 6:00pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton.

Darby leaves to cherish his memories his mother: Casey Taylor and Randy McLamb of Clinton, father: Williams Hatton of Oregon, Siblings: Kelvin Johnson and wife Jessica of Roseboro, Emilee Taylor and husband Jack of Roseboro, Zachery Hatten of Oregon, Nolan Hatton of Oregon, Ava Hatton of Oregon and Dylan Hatton also of Oregon. Grandparents: Linda and Alfred Tyndall and Elgie Lucas, Nephews: Ayden and Kaleb, Niece: Khloe, Close Family Friend: Melissa Robinson.
