Clinton Mr. Dannie Franklin Harris, 66 of 427 Hunt Ln. died Monday April 25,2011 at his home. Funeral service will be held Thursday April 28, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Bread of Life Worship Center with the Rev. Eugene Jones officiating. Burial will follow at 11:00am Friday April 29, 2011 at Hillcrest Cemetery located in Newton Grove. Mr. Harris was born December 13, 1944 in Sampson county to the late Isham Alvin Harris and Gladys King. Dannie worked for years driving Trucks for FCX Company in Newton Grove. He was preceded in death by Two brothers: Alvin, Roy and Melvin, One Sister: Julia Raynor. Three daughters survive Dannie: Tonya Romero of Clinton, Sylvia Ammons of Clinton, and Mary Smith of Clinton. Three Sons: Anthony Thornton of Clinton, Bobby Thornton of Clinton, and Charles Thomas Smith of Hickory, NC. One Sister in Law: Mae Harris of Roseboro. (9) Grandchildren, (3) Great-grandchildren.
