Coco Frances "Hayden" Schwab 18, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC.

Coco was born January 15, 2005 in Montclaire, New Jersey to Shani Atkins and David Harold Schwab. She was a senior at Overhills High School in Spring Lake, Class of 2023 and a member of FBLA. Coco had been accepted to several colleges including UNC Pembroke, Winston Salem State University, Fayetteville State University, NC Central University, Methodist University and Salem State University, but had not made a final decision on where she wanted to attend prior to her unforeseen passing. Coco was a talented cartoon and animation artist, played the piano, and loved My Little Pony.

Coco is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Harold and Olga Schwab of Orange, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Greater Hope Christian Center, 5881 N US 421 Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Pastor David Fennell officiating.

A Walk Through visitation will take place 5:00-8:00 pm, with family present 7:00-8:00 pm, on March 31, 2023 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Coco is survived by her parents: Shani Atkins of Angier, NC and David Schwab of Staten Island, NY; brother: Kyle Schwab of Newark, NJ; maternal grandparents: Ms. Frances Boles of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Mr. James Caldwell Jr. of Trenton, NJ; aunts: Dr. Ebony Caldwell of Seattle, WA, Saundretta James of Angier, NC, Daysia Boles of Clinton, NC; uncle: Doug Schwab and wife Wendy; loving foster mother: Ms. Loretta Stroud of Spring Lake, NC; and loving boyfriend: Jylique Burgess of Cameron, NC. The memories of Coco will be treasured by those family and friends who had the pleasure of knowing her.
