Mrs. Cletas Dula 67 passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.

Cletas was born on May 4, 1954. She was feisty yet wore her heart on her sleeve. Cletas enjoyed caring for others and she never met a stranger. For a living, she ran her own home cleaning service. She loved to cook and in her free time she could often be found crafting.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday April 30, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328 .

Cletas is preceded in death by her mother Martha Oxendine as well as three brothers, Percell Hammonds, James Hammonds, and Meldon Oxendine.

Left to cherish the memory of Cletas are her children: Ryan Ammons of Clinton, NC, Rebekah Ammons of Woodbridge, VA, O'Bryan Ammons of Salemburg, NC and Thomas Ammons of Louisiana; her sisters: Vonnie Matthews of Harvey, LA and Virginia Parker of Maysville, NC; grandchildren: Cree Ammons-Jones, Kai Jones, Daniella Ammons, Rylan Ammons, Landon Ammons, James Ammons, Skylin Carter, Trinity Ammons and Jaelyn Ammons; special granddaughter Miranda Ottaway; great grandchildren: Tristan Ammons-Jones and Maverick; niece Bonnie Katicich; nephew Jimmie Matthews and very special friends Donald Turner and Bessie Starling.
