Friday, February 15, 2013 Garland, Claude Clingmon DeVaughn passed away on Thursday ,February 14, 2013 at the age of 89 at his home 104 Center Street. Claude was born in Sampson County in April 22, 1923 at the late Horace Clingmon and Lola Freeman DeVaughn and was a Served in the U.S. Navy and Veteran of World War 11 and member of Trinity AME Zion Church in Harrells. Home Going Service will be 1:00 pm Monday February 18, 2013 at Trinity AME Zion Church 8122 Tomahawk Hwy Harrells, by the Rev. Candice Fisher officiating, Burial will follow in church cemetery.
