Clara Lee Jones Capps, 62 of 250 Piggybank Lane Newton Grove passed away on Sunday October 21, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

Born in 1956 to William and Elgie Jones, Clara was a homemaker. Clara is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Ray Capps and siblings Velma Ruth & Dora Lee Jones.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Newton Grove Church of God with Rev. David Jarman officiating, burial will follow in the Massey Family Cemetery.

Clara left to cherish her memories: Sons: Kevin (Shannon) Capps of Clinton, Billy Ray (Cindy) Capps of Florida, daughter: Amy Capps of Newton Grove. Six grandchildren; Alaina Capps, Alivia Capps, Hunter Capps, Corey Capps, Savannah Capps and Julia Capps.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the church prior to the service.

Flowers are welcomed, contributions may be made to Newton Grove Church of God.
