Charles Ray Lassiter Jr. 41, departed this life on July 7, 2022. Charlie was born on August 29, 1980 to Margaret Miller and Charlie Ray Lassiter. Charlie was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Charlie is preceded in death by his grandfather Charlie Ray Lassiter Sr. and grandmother Lucy Lassiter of Waycross, NC and grandfather A.D. Taylor of Turkey, NC.

He leaves to honor his memory his mother: Margaret A. Miller of Turkey, NC; father: Charlie Ray Lassiter of Waycross, NC; sisters: Annie Oates of Turkey, NC and Niara Lassiter of Clinton, NC; brothers: James T. Smith of Raleigh, NC, Christopher R. Lassiter of Raleigh, NC and Andre D. Lassiter of Turkey, NC; maternal grandmother Eva Mae Taylor; three nieces and three nephews as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Chestnutt Cemetery on K Bryan Road, Magnolia, NC.

A Walk Thru will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton from 2:00pm – 7:00pm with family present from 6:00pm – 7:00pm.
