Clinton, Charlie ( Little Charlie ) Royal Jr. 47 of 7907 N. US Hwy. 421 passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at his home. A Home Going Service will be held 2:00 Sunday, May, 22, 2016 at Running Branch Disciples Church with Pastor Calvin Deans officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery. On May 13, 2016 God picked one of his children, Charlie Albert Royal Jr. 47 of Clinton, North Carolina. He was born in Sampson County on September 2, 1968 to Charlie and Carolyn Royal. Charlie graduated from Midway High School and continued his education at University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He joined Running Branch Disciples Church at an early age where he remained a member. Charlie was a very humble man and would be happy to do what ever anyone would ask of him. God gifted him with the ability to fix things, no matter what was needed he could fix it and was willing to "pitch in" to lend a helping hand where ever it was needed. He was employed at Hog Slat until his health prevented him from continuing working. Charlie leave to cherish his loving memories, Sons; Charles Alex Royal of Fayetteville, N.C. Eric Jones of Sanford, N.C. Daughter; Soni Nicole Melvin of Fayetteville, N.C. Father; Charlie A. Royal Sr. Mother; Carolyn Royal Brothers; John Author Royal Christopher Glenn Royal both of Clinton, N.C. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew, nieces and a special friend. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 1:00 - 6:00 with family present from 5:00 - 6:00 at Running Branch Disciples Church 354 Running Branch Road Clinton, North Carolina 28328.
