Charles Kennedy 71, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023 at his home.

Charles was born in Christmas, Florida on February 5, 1951 to the late Link Kennedy and Loretta Norris. He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and went on to drive trucks for a living. He enjoyed fishing, shooting and tinkering around.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents: Link and Loretta Kennedy; siblings: Sadie Kennedy, Allen Kennedy, and James Robert Kennedy; and granddaughter: Haley Stovall.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Hope Valley Hawkins.

Left to cherish the memory of Charles, are his children: Karol Stovall (Thomas) of Lexington, NC, Carla Kennedy (George Karkini) of Raleigh, NC, and Jamey Kennedy of Raleigh, NC; his siblings: Lettie Vann of Newton Grove, NC, Frank Kennedy of California, and James Kennedy of Dunn, NC; grandchildren: Casey Stovall, Mason Lancaster, Alston Lancaster, Alyssa Lancaster, Joey Karkini, Damon Kennedy, and Alena Kennedy; and great-grandchild: Greyson Stovall.
