Charles was born in Cook County, Illinois in 1960 to the late James and Christine Tackett Dorton. Charles adored his grandchildren and enjoyed his hobby of hunting. He was preceded in death by brother: Dennis Dorton. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Open Arms PSWB Church on 351 Taylors Bridge Hwy. Clinton, with Pastors Ricky Jacobs and Ben Merritt officiating, burial will follow in the Harrells city cemetery.
