Clinton, Brenda Gay Thornton 72 of 211 B. Morrisey Blvd, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Sampson Regional Medical Center. Born in Sampson County to the late James and Beulah West Thornton, Brenda spent her time caring for her family as a homemaker. Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, with Pastor Kevin Haynes officiating. Burial will be held at Thornton Cemetery at 11:00 am on Monday, February 13, 2017.
