On the morning of November 7, 2022 at Mary Gran Nursing Home, Bobby Pearson 73, was called home, after fulfilling his purpose here on earth.

Bobby Pearson was born on January 14, 1949, to the late Morgan Pearson Sr. and Fannie Mae Frank Pearson in Summerton, South Carolina. On November 14, 1967 Bobby was united in holy matrimony to Brenda Bernice Bratten. To this union, they were blessed with a son, Carlton Dwayne Bratten Sr. (Toya). Bobby was a member of Mount Carmel at a young age. During his tenure he was an usher and taught Sunday school. Bobby worked at Lundy's for over 40 years and retired. He was a hard working man and always provided for his family.

Home Going Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Pearson, his son, Carlton Bratten Sr., and two brothers, Morgan Pearson (Rosa) and Abraham Pearson.

A Walk Through will be from 2:00-5:00 pm, family present from 4:00-5:00 pm, on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memories, one grandson: Carlton Dwayne Bratten Jr (Lanise); 3 great grandchildren: Zha'Carie, Zha'Ki, and Zoey, one god-daughter, Tashae' Burns Ferrell; his sisters: Lydia Johnson (Stacey), Shirley Pearson (James), Vivian Jones (Ivory) all of Summerton, SC; his brothers: Esaw Pearson of Summerton, SC and Sheldon Livingston (Linda) of Clinton, NC; 3 sister-in-laws: Evangelist Joann Usher of Suitland, MD, Saundra Grey Melchor of Mitchellville, MD, and Sonya Bratten of Suitland, MD; 3 brother-in-laws: Minister Donnie Carroll Bratten of Suitland, MD, Rev. Jonathan Russ of Texas, and Darryl Melchor of Mitchellville, MD; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
