Bland Bennett Jr. 71 of New York, formally of Clinton passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his home. Mr. Bennett was born in 1944 to the late Mary Lou Pridgen and Bland Bennett, he received his education at Charles E. Perry School in Roseboro, N.C. and was a devoted member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. A Home Going Service will be held Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy.
