Billy was born in Sampson County in 153 to the late Charlie and Wilma Gray Carr Thompson. He drove trucks long distance for 38 years. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Faith Chapel Church of God in Roseboro with the Rev. Glenn Morgan and Debra Carlisle officiating, burial will follow in the Doc Autry Cemetery, He was preceded in death by a sister: Darlene William and a brother: Larry Thompson.
