Betty Jane Maready, 79 passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at Pender Memorial Hospital.

Betty was born November 28, 1941 to the late William Love Matthews and Dorthy Louise Hinton. Betty loved her family and in her free time enjoyed canning, cooking, and sewing.

Betty is preceded in death by her Son: Steve Maready and Grandchildren: Stephanie Maready and Justin Maready.

A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Harrells Community Cemetery.

Betty leaves behind to cherish her memory her Husband: Edger Maready of Harrells, Children: Emily Andrews ( Aaron) and Lynwood Maready (Kristie) both of Harrells, her Sister: Crystal Sloan of Raleigh as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
