Bertha was born in Sampson County in1923 to the late Chester Stevens and Rosie Boykin Stevens, she is preceded in death by her husband Quincy Lewis, son Charles Edward Lewis and sister Rachel Stevens, Liz Stevens and Pearl Shamley. A home going service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, July 5,2014 at Greater Six Run Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Jackson officiating, burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery.
