Benjamin was born to the late Clyde Parker Jr. and Lizzie Crumpler in Sampson County in 1941. He was a Veteran serving in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Crumpler and brothers Earl Ray Parker and James Richard Parker. A home going service will be held on at 3:00pm Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Cedar Point Disciple Church in Newton Grove with the rev. Gary Jones officiating, burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery in Clinton.
