Arlynn May Herzog-Welch, age 103, of Clinton, North Carolina passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. She was born on May 17, 1919, in Bessemer, Michigan, the oldest daughter of Lynn D. and Pearl M. (Radcliffe) Wright. Arlynn met Edward Delos Herzog and they were married on November 11, 1944 in Barryton, Michigan. Together they raised six children until his death on February 13, 2003. She then married Melvin Welch on November 2, 2006. He preceded her in death in 2010. Arlynn was a factory worker during WWII until the birth of her first child. She loved to crochet, do word search puzzles, and read her bible. She was a member of the Church of God in Edmore and the M-46 Tabernacle in Vestaburg.

Arlynn is Survived by her children, Debbie (Dick) Johnson, Lynn Herzog, Forrest (Judy) Herzog, Bud Herzog all of Six Lakes, Elona (Bob) Clark of North Carolina, Mark Herzog of Sheridan; stepchildren, Carol (Max) Brown, Mark (Loie) Welch, all of California, Vern (Carla) Welch of Michigan; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and James Quisenberry; 2 granddaughters; 2 grandsons; 3 daughters-in-law; and one nephew.

Funeral services for Arlynn are at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview.
