Annie Ruth Bennett would like to let you all know that her work here is done.

She received a call, sort of an offer you can't refuse. For an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission take her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, cooking and gardening.

A Home Going Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Big Piney Grove Church with Rev. Dwayne Parrish officiating, burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Annie Ruth Bennett was born February 6, 1924 to the late Willie Edward & Rena Underwood-Fowler. She had ten other siblings that preceded her in death; Louella, Idell, Inez, Aldene, Christine, Stacy, George, Willie, Albert, David & Robert.

Annie was united in marriage to the late Charlie James Bennett. To this union four children were born with one preceded in death: Charlie Ray Bennett;

Daughter- Mary (Elliott) Boykin, Sons- Roy Lee (Gloria) Bennett and James (Mary) Bennett all of Clinton, NC. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other special relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton.
