Clinton- Mr. Allie Lee Owens, 84 of 1301 Jasper Street Apt. H, died on Saturday May 26th, 2012 at Sampson Regional Medical Center. A home going service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday May 31st, 2012 at Crusade For Christ Church 815 Taylors Chapel Rd., Dunn with the Rev. Jimmy Melvin officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Mr. Owens was born June 17th,1927 in Sampson Co., to the late Allie Owens and Lauretta Lark. He was preceded in death by his wife Donnie Owens and two daughters Judith Owens & Dorothy Hill. He leaves to cherish his memories: Five (5) Daughters: Evangelist Annie Ruth Elliott of Spivey's Corner, Pastor Louise Royal of Clinton, NC; Evangelist Katie McBride of Salemburg, NC; Loretta Parker of Dunn, NC; & Renee Blue of Clinton, NC; Six (6) Sons: Alton Anthony Owens of Dunn, NC; Bishop T.J Tart of Atlanta, GA; Elder Carl Lee Owens of Garner, NC; David Allen Owens of Dunn, NC; Henry Thomas Tart of Raleigh, NC; & Willie James Tart of Baltimore, MD A public viewing will be held an hour prior to the service at the church, and other times at the home located at 815 Taylor Chapel Rd. in Dunn, NC.
