Allen Drake 55 of 793 Curtis Ivey Road passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton.

Allen Frederick was born on May 16, 1963 in Jamaica, New York to the late William Banks and step-son of the late Cleveland Smith and surviving mother Nancy Smith.

He attended public schools in New York City and also in Sampson County, North Carolina. After school he had many jobs but his love was truck driving until his health prevented him from doing so.

Allen was united in matrimony to Linda Bolton Drake.

He leaves to cherish his memories Sisters: Victoria D. Brown, Michele Joyner (Ray), NaTasha Smith and Cleara Wiggins (Joe). A host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and many friends.

He has touched our lives in so many was that we feel a very deep loss; however we count it as a great blessing to have precious memories of him treasured in our hearts.

Home Going service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Greater Six Run Church with Rev. James Jackson officiating, burial will be held privately.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation from 2:00 pm -  7:00 pm with family present from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
