Alice Wright 56 passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her home.

Alice Wright was born and raised in Mt. Olive, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Carolyn Wright who was also born in Mt. Olive, North Carolina. Her grandmother was Mere Jane Wright and her father was James Leonard Sr.

Alice had 4 children: Vernon Faison, Jerome Demond Wright, Dorail Wright, and Sandra Chinitia Williams. She also leaves a new grandbaby: Kiana Dior Faison; goddaughter: Lameaka McClarin; 3 additional godchildren: Nayquan Kornegay, Kanija Kornegay, and Taveon Kornegay; special friend Devon Goodman and a very special best friend/sister: Peggy.

My mother was a loving, caring, and honest woman who deeply loved her children. It was always just us. I am going to miss my mom very much. It is impossible to put into words the heartbreak her children, family and friends are experiencing at this time. Just keep us in your prayers. -Daughter, Sandra Williams
