Clinton, Alice Moore 71 of 307 Martin Luther King Blvd. passed away on Saturday, April 08, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Mrs. Alice "Pearl" Moore transitioned to her new life with peace & grace on April 8, 2017. "Pearl" was born June 4, 1945 in Clinton, North Carolina to the late Elmer Faison & Ada Brewington Faison. Pearl developed a love for the Lord and attended First Baptist Church in Clinton. She was a graduate of Sampson High School in Clinton, North Carolina. After graduating high school she moved to Massachusetts and worked as a retail manager for many years, displaying a wonderful interest in style and fashion. Later she moved back to North Carolina to take care of her ill father, She then completed barber school in Raleigh, North Carolina and began her career as a barber in her home town. Shortly after her career ended due to her injuries from a fatal car accident. "Pearl" loved spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend; she had a sense of humor out of this world, not matter what the situation you could always count on her to make you laugh and smile. She is also a member of the America Legion Auzilliary Unit #319 Clinton for many years. "To know her was to love her." A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton. Alice leaves to cherish her memories: Her loving husband: Willie Ray Moore of the home Daughter: Takima Wynn of Charlotte, NC Step-Daughter: Tanasha Moore of Fayetteville, NC God Sons: Trini Best: Charlotte, NC Delrick Raynor of Clinton, NC Grandchildren: Zion "her sugar baby" Justin & Xeroncia. Great grandchild Mia Sisters-in-law: Shirley Haggan, Ernestine Blue, Wanda Washington Very special brother cousins: Thomas & James Faison both of Detriot MI. Very Special Childhood friend Lillie Alford. Services are entrusted to Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation.
