Monday, October 28, 2013 Clinton, Mr. Alexander Boykin 95 of 2961 Boykin Bridge Road passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Sampson Regional Medical Center. Alexander was born in Sampson County in 1918 to the late Alexander and Maggie Jane Conley Boykin. He joined Cedar Creek Baptist Church and the United States Army, he served in World War II. Alexander was preceded in death by brothers: Clifton Boykin, Furman Boykin, Arthur Boykin, Willie Boykin; Sister; Elosie Sampson: Grandsons; Kevin & Donnel Murphy. A Home Going Service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Big Piney Grove Church with Rev. Ray Bolton officiating, burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Clinton with military honors.
