Albert Brown Jr., 57, of 404 Marsh Kornegay Road passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Albert was born in Montgomery, Alabama on March 31, 1962 to Albert Brown Sr. and the late Barbara Jean (Herbert) Brown.
Albert received his education in Dansville, NY and participated in track and field (440 relay and cross country). At the end of high school he drove trucks for the family farming business and he continued his career doing the work that he loved, farming & driving trucks, with his brother until his passing.
In addition to his mother, Albert was preceded in death by his sister: Antoinette Spruill, Special Cousin: Marvin Brown, and close friend: Charles Ray Howard.
Albert leaves to mourn his two daughters; Natasha Marie Brown (Benson, NC) and Nusheka Jones (Newton Grove, NC); five grandchildren; Javieon, Ambriel, Nykeeia, Heavenlie, and Alajyha, two sons; Lamar Jones and Alexander (Natalie) Brown of Kentucky, Father: Albert Brown Sr. of Clinton, NC, three brothers; Cornell (Ollie) Brown of Clinton, NC, Robert Spruill of Spiveys Corner, NC, and Terry Spruill of Titusville, FL., three sisters; Sandra Brown of Faison, NC, Sharon (Frank) Singleton of Clinton, NC, and Angela (Darrell) Walcott of Stockbridge, GA, 14 nieces, 15 nephews, a special niece Latoya Thomas of Faison, NC, and special cousins Jackie Watkins & Curtis Brown of Montgomery, AL, aunts and uncles (Montgomery, AL) and a host of close friends & family.
A Home going service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Hope Valley Funeral Chapel located at 1246 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328 with Pastor Dr. Patricia S. Peterson officiating.Burial will follow in the Sandhill cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 3PM-7PM with the family present from 6PM-7PM at Hope Valley Funeral Chapel.
A repast will be held at the home of Sandra Brown & Bobby Parker located at 404 Marsh Kornegay Road, Faison, NC.
Professional services are entrusted to Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation.
