Adrienne "Sam" Lockamy-Wheeler 53, of 679 Mintz Road, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at her home.

Adrienne was born in Sampson County on April 12, 1970 to Clara Beatty and the late Thomas D. Lockamy. She owned her own business as a talented graphic artist.

Adrienne is preceded in death by her brother, Sam M. Lockamy and father, Thomas D. Lockamy.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Left to cherish the memory of Adrienne is her mother: Clara Beatty Lockamy of Clinton; siblings: Carla Peterson of Clinton, Mitchell Thomas Lockamy of Mississippi, and Jenny Lockamy Walker of Roseboro; her four-legged companion, Miss Priss and a host of nieces and nephews.
