Aaron Solomon Harvey 51 of 3377 Faison Hwy. passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in Raleigh. Aaron was born in 1963 to the late William Harvey and Margie Harvey Parker, He head a trade for construction work and was also a people person. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Hope Valley Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, with Rev. Alfred Holston officiating, burial will be held privately. Aaron was raised and went to school in Queens, New York. In the Early part of 2000 Aaron moved to Clinton, North Carolina to be close to his mother. He had a trade for construction work, and was also a people person. He loved hanging out and having fun meeting up with the guys every morning, up until five years ago when his health would not allow him to do so anymore. Aaron was one who believed in doing every and anything he wanted to do. Aaron was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Vincent Harvey. He leaves to cherish his great memories: one daughter, Shantel Grissom of Bronx, New York, Two sons, Aaron Grissom of Bronx, New York, and Khalil Harvey of Delaware. One grandson, Shaeheem Mykel Grissom of Roseboro, North Carolina. Three sisters, Debra Hunt of Brooklyn, New York, Marilyn Ward (Lloyd) of Wilson, North Carolina, and Denise Edwards (Milton) of Somerset, New Jersey. Three brothers Lewis Saunders (Manuela) of Killeen, Texas, Richard Saunders of Delway, North Carolina and Basil Harvey of Wilson, North Carolina. Two Aunts, Nena Thomas of Athens, Georgia and Alta Jones of Atlanta, Georgia. One uncle Ralph Smith of Athens, Georgia. A special cousin Chaunte Peterson and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
