Beatrice Pigford Cox was born on October 6, 1931, in Pender County, NC to the late Timothy Boney, Sr. and Estelle Pigford Boney.  She departed this life on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Mary Gran Nursing Home in Clinton, NC.  Ms. Cox was preceded in death by her husband John Cox, sister Stella Boney Harding, brothers Oscar Boney, Vannie Boney and Samuel Boney.

Ms. Cox was a very special person who was loved by all.  She was a devoted Sister, Aunt, Mentor and Friend.  Ms. Cox joined Olivet Institutional Baptist Church in 1998 and attended services regularly while her health allowed.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 11:00 am at Sandhill Cemetery in Clinton with Rev. Willie Bowen officiating.

Left to cherish her memories: One brother: Timothy Boney Jr of Temple Hills, MD; one stepbrother: Joseph Blackmon of Fayetteville, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation walk thru will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation,1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
