Rose Elizabeth Pope Futrell 87 of 371 Woodland Church Road died Thursday July 12, 2018 at Kenansville Health Center in Kenansville.

Ms. Rose was born in 1931 in Duplin County to the late John and Mary Mathis Pope.

She was preceded by Daughters Rose Marie (PeeWee) Moss, Mary Lou Hanna, Son, Joseph Moss, Brothers, Charlie Pope, John Pope, Earl Pope and Sisters Betty Armstrong, Edna Simmons, Virginia Pope and Isabell Pope.

Funeral Service will be held 7:00 pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel 1246 Hobbton Hwy Clinton Tuesday July 17, 2018 by Rev A.C. Lee officiating, Burial will later date.

Ms. Rose leaves to cherish her memories by her sons: John Thomas Moss of McCain, David Moss and wife Ann of Wilmington, Bobby Ray Moss Pamlico County, Jack Moss and Robert E. Moss both of Albertson, Daughter Betty Whitfield and Husband Gary of Beulaville and daughter in-law Linda Moss of Warsaw

16 Grandchildren and 45 Great-Grandchildren
