Roland Brent Parker Jr. was born on February 10, 2001 in Cumberland Co. to his mother Irene Parker and father the late Roland Brent Parker Sr. of Clinton, NC.  Roland passed away June 16, 2019 on Father’s day in a tragic car accident.  Roland was a student at Lakewood High School in Roseboro, NC where he resided with his mother, siblings, girlfriend, their son Roland Brent Parker III, and their unborn baby.  Roland was a generous, outspoken, happy, and had a free spirit.  His smile would light up the room. He was a great father to his one year old son. He loved playing music, rapping, playing basketball, spending time with his family and friends.

 Roland Jr. was preceded in death by his father Roland Brent Parker Sr. and his paternal grandmother Betty Parker.

Roland leaves behind two brothers Ivin Phillip Martinez and Avian Brent Parker. His baby sister Alexa Herring.  His maternal grandparents Manuel and Gloria Herrera, paternal grandfather Roland Pope Parker. His uncles Harry Parker, Steve Parker, and Jessie Parker.  His aunts Ernestina Herrera, Cindy Herrera, Shirley Parker, Jennifer Hobbs, and Sharlene Parker.

Visitation will be Sunday June 23, 2019 from 3pm-7pm with family present from 5pm-7pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral & Cremation Service 1246 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton, NC

Funeral Service will be Monday June 24, 2019 at 2pm at New Beginning Christian Center 949 Indian Town Rd, Clinton, NC Officiated by Rev. Kevin Kirby
