Paula Denise Brewington Curtis 46 passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at her home.

Born in 1971 in Sampson County, North Carolina Paula was a homemaker, she is preceded in death by her mother: Fedailh Brewington and daughter Shrnee Brewington.

Funeral will be held 4:00 pm Saturday July 14, 2018 at East Carolina Church of God 120 Church Road Clinton NC by the Rev: Glenn Vann and Rev: Rus Emmanuel

and Burial will follow at Alphin Family Cemetery 300 Alphin Road Dunn NC

Denise, AKA Wahoo Lumbee was a wonderful person, she was the life of the party; she would give you the shirt off her back. Her kids were her pride and joy.

Denise’s sisters were more like her daughters, her nieces and nephews were more like her grandchildren. She was the backbone to her family. Denise loved her grandson more than anyone on this earth, she never let him go without. She was a “go-getter“, her family ever wasnted for anything. If she loved you, you were family and she would break her neck to make sure you were good.

Denise was a wonderful friend, she never met a stranger, she had a heart made of steel. Whenever you needed her she was there. She was a daddy’s girl in her heart ‘til the day she died. Her family was always her main concern and she forgave faster than she could forget it happened. She was one of a kind and she will always be loved and truly missed, life will never be the same without her. Denise leaves to cherish her memory: Husband: Stanley Curtis, Parents: Larry and Tammy Brewington, Children: Constanza Curtis, Devin, Curtis, Fuquen Curtis, Glenn and Jermain Alford. Grandchild: Keiloni Alford, Nieces and Nephews: Demonte Oates, Serenity Oates, Damonte Oates, Cheyanne, Kadisa, Berneatha Locklear, Patricia Locklear,Ziggy, Natisha Locklear, Natasha Locklear, Nichollete Locklear, Pappa Jack.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation 1246 Hobbton Hwy Clinton NC and other times at 51 Dodge Lane Dunn NC
