Louis F. Tomlins, age 58, passed away at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC surrounded by his loved ones on April 16, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

Louis was born in Beacon, NY on September 22, 1959. Moved to Wappingers Falls at age 13 where he continued his life and career.

Louis is preceded in death by his brothers Harold Tomlins of Wappingers Falls, NY and Richard Tomlins of Beacon, NY and his grandson Louis Emilio Tomlins who passed away at birth.

Louis is survived by his daughters, Nicole, Rachel and Mary Tomlins all of Hopewell Jct., NY. His Grandchildren, his partner of many years, Dorothy Sprague of Roseboro, NC and her family. The family of his heart, Jaime Kidder and family. His brother Michael Cservak and his wife Tammy. Also his step daughter Francisca Alvarez-Lopez.

Louis was a master carpenter who took pride in even the smallest project. From home repairs to church renovations and commercial buildings for friends, he was known for quality work, patience, kindness and selflessness. He had a special fondness for those who needed him most and made himself available at all hours. His legacy lives on in his work visible throughout the Hudson Valley and in our hearts forever.
