Linwood Earl Simmons Jr. 33 of 118 Faison St. passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at The Brian Center in Wallace.

Born in 1984 in Duplin County, NC to Linwood Earl and Clara Lynn Simmons Sr. Linwood was preceded in death by his grandparents, a sister Amanda Gail Simmons and aunt: Rita Diaz.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton with Pastor Steve Catlin and Pastor Asa Lee officiating, burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery.

Linwood leaves to cherish his memories: Father: Linwood Earl Simmons Sr., Mother: Clara Lynn Lee, sister: Edna Lynn Allen and husband James, nephews: James Allen and wife Cynthia, Patrick Allen & Jennifer Allen, great-nephews: Daniel Allen, Jayden and Ayden Fonseca, great niece: Katlynn Allen, aunts: Debbie White and husband Kenneth, Kathy Sloan and husband Rick, Kandy Koonce, uncles: Kenneth Simmons, Terry Lee and wife Nancy and a host of cousin, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton.
