 United States Marine JonPaul C. Grant 47 died Tuesday August 6, 2019 in Horry County S.C.

Home Going Service will be held 11:00 am Monday August 12 2019 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Roseboro NC burial will follow at Sandhill State Veterans Cemetery in Ft Bragg NC with full military honors.

Visitation will be held 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm with family present at 5:00 pm Sunday August 11, 2019 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation 1246 Hobbton Hwy Clinton NC 28328.

JonPaul was born July 12, 1972 to Tommy Grant and the late Martha Miller.  He received his education from Ramsey County School Systems and he later graduated from Harding High School in 1991 St. Cloud, MN. After completing High School. JonPaul joined the United States Marine Corps and served seven years as a dedicated Marine.  Upon his exit out of the Marine Corps, he attended A&T Truck Driving School.  He also completed some courses at Pembroke University. 

He is survived by his wife of 24 years; Jeanette D. Grant, Children: Shandre J. Armwood (Antonio) of Clinton, NC,  K-Shawn D. Grant of Fayetteville, NC, and Macey T.B. Grant of Fayetteville, NC and his Father Tommy Grant of St. Cloud, MN; Grandchildren: Adele and Antonio Armwood; Siblings: Robert Grant of Minneapolis, MN; Kitty Ann Olsen (Benny) of Colorado; Autum Grant of California; Adrian Rozeske of St. Cloud, MN; Father In-Law: the late Charlie Davis and wife Juanita Davis; Brothers in-Law: Charles E. Owens (Pamela) of Clinton, NC; Roger Davis (Wandy) of Clinton, NC; Dwight Davis (Patricia) of Charlotte, NC; Timothy Davis of Fayetteville; Sister In-Law: Lynette Bennett (Robert) of Roseboro; and many nephews and nieces.
