Rev. Elmo Eugene Jones age 70 died on June 18, 2019 at Warsaw Health Rehab in Warsaw, NC.  Rev. Gene was born in Johnston County NC to Arie Eugene and Mae Miller Jones.  He married Roxie Jane in August of 1965 and they were married for 49 years before her death in 2014. He was the Pastor of the Bread of Life Worship Center for many years. Rev. Gene enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved the mountains and fishing at the beach.

Rev. Gene was preceded in death by his parents Arie Eugene and Mar Miller Jones. Two sisters Elenora Fussell and Patricia Harris. Three brothers Frankie, Jimmy, and Lennie Jones.

 He is survived by one sister Betty Jackson. Three sons, Ricky of Wallace,NC; Gary of Wallace, NC; and Jeffery Jones of Clinton, NC. Four grandchildren Sarah, Olivia, Skyler, and Aalliah Jones all of Clinton, NC.  Three great-grandchildren, India Bell, Noah Perry, and Jayce Faircloth.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to Funeral Service on Saturday June 22, 2019 in the Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Services & Cremation Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton, NC at 2pm. Pastor Donald Myers will be officiating the service.
