Home Going service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving, devoted wife of 22 years: Velma Herring of Clinton, daughter: Lashaundra Miller of Clinton, son: Louis Jones (Christy) of Roseboro, NC, three grandchildren: Nelexus Jones of Harrells, NC, Daiyona Miller and Donte Singleton (DJ) of Clinton, NC, uncle: Philmore Herring (Rosa Mae) of Roseboro, NC, sister-in-law: Ida Jones (Jimmy) of Clinton, NC nieces: Jacqueline Jones Williams (Brian) of Clinton, NC and Lisa Jones of Clinton, NC, great-nieces: Tiondra Jones of Clinton, NC Aaliyah Moore of Clinton, NC, great-nephews: Osharmaine Jones of Clinton, NC and Jaelyn Browne also of Clinton, NC

Special cousins: Doreen Herring of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Beverly Watson of Union, NJ, A special (four legged) grandson: Rocky Balboa.

A public walk thru will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation, 1246Hobbton Hwy. Clinton from 2:00pm – 6:00pm with family present from 5:00pm – 6:00pm.
