Anna Marie McPherson, 44, of 6109 Buffaloe Road passed away, suddenly, on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in Raleigh.

Anna “Marie” was born in Nashville, TN on September 21, 1975 and moved, with her family to Clinton in December 1977 where she attended Clinton Elementary, Middle School and High School.

For the past several years, Anna Marie, was a U.S. Government contractor for the Social Security Administration, as part of the Koniag Technical Solutions family.

Anna Marie never met a person or animal that she did not love and hug. Her friendship was forever. She loved her Mom, her family, her dogs and cats, her friends, her friend’s children, her friend’s parents, her friend’s dogs and cats. She loved to dance, music, especially Queen, to read, watch movies, and the beach; but mostly, to spend time laughing and living life to the fullest with her family, friends, and pets.

Anna Marie was the sunshine of everyone’s morning, greeting everyone with “Hi Sweetheart” or “Hey Darlin.” Her smile, her sense of humor, and laughter were contagious and big. Her hugs were for everyone and every creature. The last thing she would do is give you a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and say, “I love you, too.”

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Clinton Community Church, 1901 Sunset Ave, Clinton with Pastor Dwight Dunning officiating, burial will follow in the Clinton City Cemetery.

Anna leaves to cherish her memories: her Mother: Mary Elizabeth Vernon of Clinton, Brothers: Sam McPherson of Whispering Pines and Mark McPherson of Spring Lake, Sisters: Glenda McPherson of Houston, Texas and Mary Sandlin of Clinton.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Clinton Community Church.
