Bobby Daniel Blake 38, of Roseboro, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at his home.

Bobby was born in Sampson County, NC, to Jacqueline Naylor Herring and Robert Lurell Blake.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lurell Blake; paternal grandparents, Mary Gladys Matthews Blake and Reginald Lurell Blake; and maternal grandparents, Shirley Lanier Naylor and Richard Naylor.

The Funeral Service for Bobby will be a private service held at a later date. Bobby will be laid to rest in the Roseboro Cemetery.

Bobby graduated from Lakewood High School in 2003. He joined the Marines but was honorably discharged due to a previous injury. He received his CDL license at Johnston Community College and worked for several years as a truck driver. Bobby was a member of Bread of Life Church.

Bobby will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and passion for cars, motorcycles, and airplanes. He loved working on cars, flying model planes, and restoring classic Mustangs in his spare time. He will be deeply missed and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Those left to cherish the memories of Bobby include his fiance, Jennifer Leigh Patterson of Fayetteville; mother, Jacqueline Naylor Herring (Hugh) of Roseboro; sisters: Charlotte Nicks (Robert) of Clemmons and Jackie Bass (Chris) of Salemburg; nieces and nephews: Courtney, Caitlyn, and Caden Bass all of Salemburg, Ashley Faubus of Flat Rock, David Faubus of Asheville; and other special family.
