Timothy Theodore Tromp 55 of 1889 Taylors Bridge Hwy died Thursday morning March 26, 2015 at Kitty Askin Hospice in Goldsboro,
Born in 1959 in New Jersey to Theodore Tromp and the late Mary Lynn Luscher Tromp, he graduated from Randolph High School in 1976 then joined the United Stated Navy in 1977. Timothy served on the USS Trepang Nuclear Submarine as a navigator.
Timothy was a member of the Friends of the Waterway of Sampson County for 5 years and proudly served as president for the last 1 ½ years, he was also a member of Bethany Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church for 20 years and served as a Sunday School teacher for 15 years. He worked as an Appliance & Transit Engineer Expert for Schindler Elevator Co. for 29 years.
Timothy is preceded in death by his mother: Mary Lynn Tromp and Brother: James Tromp.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Bethany Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church, 1068 Rackley Road, Clinton, with Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan officiating, burial will be held privately.

The family will receive friends from 10:30am - 11:00am on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Bethany Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.
