Mamie Lee Sloan 80 of 120 Dogwood Circle passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Mamie was born in Sampson County in 1934 to the late George Amos William and Tossie Lee Brookum Williams, She spent her free time playing bingo. Mamie was preceded in death by husband: Carey Curtis Sloan daughter: Carmenletta Sloan Whitted, sister: Rena Doris Williams, brothers; Paul J. Williams, Winsal Amos Williams and Raymond T. Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Hope Valley Funeral Chapel 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, with Ms.Ella Abrom officiating, burial will be held privately at the family's request.
