John Martin Blue 56 of 318 Stewart Road died on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Cape Fear Health Systems in Fayetteville.
John was born in Sampson County in 1958 to the late John Blue and Dora Monk Blue.
John enjoyed watching baseball and football and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.
He was preceded in death by sisters: Elva Matthis, and Patricia Ann Blue.
A Home Going service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 4448 Straw Pond School Road, Dunn, NC, with Pastor Rena Sutton officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
