JoAnne M. Boone 57 of 200 Clive Jacobs Road died Saturday August 23, 2014 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.

JoAnne Manior Boone was born March 18, 1957 in Sampson County.
She was the daughter of the late Jean Conway of High Point, NC and J.
Robert Garner of Clinton, NC.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Jonita Alexandra Boone.
She departed her life on August 23, 2014 at Mary Gran Nursing Home in
Clinton, NC. She received her education in the Sampson County School
System. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, daughter
-in-law and cousin to all that knew her.
At a early age, eager for spiritual guidance, she joined Morning Star
Holy Church where she attended until her health began to decline. JoAnne
was a people person who never met a stranger, she loved everybody. She
worked in healthcare for 20 years. and was employed in the Clinton City
School System for 15 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of the home David
Boone; one daughter, Sherita Boone of the home; two sons, David Boone Jr.
(Christy) of Salemburg, NC and Andre' Boon of the home; seven grandchildren;
two sisters, Kimberly garner and Denise Garner both of Clinton, NC;
two brothers, Romeo Garner(Debra) and Antino Garner both of Clinton,
NC; one uncle, Kenny David of High Point, NC; one aunt Laura of High
Point, NC; She had a special love for the McLaurin family; a special mother
and father-in-law, Minnie and Johnny Hicks; five sisters-in-law, Brenda
Phillips (Percy) of Clinton, NC, Polly Anna Caldwell(Carl) of Turkey, NC,
Peggy Hicks(James Ray), Clinton, NC, Sallie Hicks and Cynthia Hicks of
Clinton, NC; three brothers-in-law, Ronnie Hicks (Grace) of Faison, NC,
Kenneth Hicks and Tyron McKathin of Clinton, NC; as well as a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Home Going Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday August 30, 2014 at Morning Star Holy Church 913 McKoy Street Clinton NC , Burial will follow and the Sand hill Cemetery

Public Viewing will held 2:00pm until 6:00pm Friday August 29, 2014 at Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Family will not be present.

The Boone family has entrust Hope Valley Funeral Service & Cremation of Clinton.
