Brenda Hooper 48 of 809 North Broad St. passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Wake Med in Raleigh.

Brenda Lee Owens Hooper was born April 23, 1968 to the late Kirby Owens and Helen McCoy-Owens.
Brenda was educated in the Sampson County School System and Clinton City School System, where she graduated from Clinton High School in 1986. Brenda later attended Sampson Community College studying Cosmetology and Early Childhood Education.

Brenda loved spending time with her grandchildren. Brenda was a very nurturing person, whose personality impacted everyone she came in contact with.
Brenda's smile, her love and her caring touch will be missed by everyone that knew her.

A Home Going Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016
at Charles E. Perry Elementary School, 705 Boone Street, Roseboro with Brother Jonathan Caster officiating, Inurnment will be held privately.

She leaves to cherish her memories:
One daughter: Coreisha Owens of the home
One son: Shaquille Owens of Roseboro, N.C.
Three Grandchildren: Zaylon Lucas, Aaron Mack and Jaylen Crawford.
Two sisters: Joy (Jeffery) Culbreth of Roseboro, N.C.
Patricia (Nelson) Matthews of Warsaw, N.C.
Two Brothers: Kirby (Eva) Owens of Clinton, N.C.
Billy Owens of Hogerstown, MD.

Four Best Friends: Angela Boykin of Clinton, N.C.
Brenda Jones of Raleigh, N.C., Mary Lewis of Roseboro, N.C. and Valerie Brunson of Durham, N.C.,
her "fur-baby" pitbull Aaliyah, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.


A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Charles E. Perry Elementary School, 705 Boone St. Roseboro and other times at the home at 809 North Broad St. Roseboro.
